Purchase Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
- 1.1. The landing page (hereinafter: "the website") operated by Pitzou Kedem Architects Ltd., Company No. 514043769, offers for purchase the book "Twenty-Five Projects" (hereinafter: "the book") in a printed version in both Hebrew and English, summarizing 25 years of activity by the "Pitzou Kedem Architects" office (hereinafter: "the seller"), published by the German publishing house HATJE CANTS.
- 1.2. These terms and conditions regulate the relationship between the seller and any buyer or interested party in purchasing the book (hereinafter: "the buyer").
- 1.3. Purchases through the website are subject to the terms outlined in this agreement.
- 1.4. Making a purchase through the website constitutes confirmation that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms of this agreement without any reservations.
- 1.5. The use of masculine language in this agreement and/or elsewhere on the website is for convenience only and refers equally to both genders.
2. Ordering and Purchase Process
- 2.1. The book is purchased through an online purchase form on the website, where the buyer must enter full, correct, and accurate personal details, provide valid and chargeable payment information, including full name, email address, delivery address, phone number, credit card details, identity number ("Personal Information"). The seller may request additional details from the purchaser.
- 2.2. The buyer must use their own details and/or if using someone else's details, the buyer declares that they are an agent, representative, and/or authorized to provide the mentioned details and/or make the purchase on behalf of the other person, and that the other person has given their irrevocable consent to this. The seller declares that the buyer is over 18 years old and legally competent to make the purchase according to the legal capacity and guardianship law, 1962.
- 2.3. Providing false details and/or using an unauthorized credit card and/or unauthorized permission from the cardholder is a criminal offense, and the violator may face legal actions, both criminal and civil.
- 2.4. The book can be purchased on the website at any time, subject to availability. If, after payment, it is found that the book is out of stock, the customer will be refunded the amount paid.
- 2.5. Purchases on the website are made through credit card only, and the transaction will be processed after approval by the credit card company. The seller does not store credit card details.
- 2.6. Payment is processed immediately online via a dedicated payment provider, GROW, which operates as an independent entity for transaction charging and verification. GROW does not store credit card details or the CVV code, in accordance with its terms of service and privacy policy, which are its responsibility. A link to its privacy policy is available on their website.
- 2.7. An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the buyer after the payment approval.
- 2.8. The product price on the website includes VAT as required by law.
- 2.9. An invoice/receipt will be automatically issued through the payment system, according to the purchase details.
- 2.10. The company reserves the right to stop marketing and selling the product at any time and also reserves the right to revoke the ability to purchase on the website at its discretion.
3. Delivery and Shipping
- 3.1. The book will be delivered via Israel Post / courier service to the address provided in the order form.
- 3.2. The shipping fee indicated on the order page may change due to price changes and policy changes with the shipping providers regarding the delivery location, as well as factors beyond the seller's control. Therefore, the shipping price shown at the time of purchase should not be considered the final shipping cost.
- 3.3. The seller reserves the right to update the shipping fees from time to time and is not obligated to notify in advance of such changes.
- 3.4. Shipping fees are in addition to the payment for the book. Notwithstanding the above, the decision to charge or not charge for shipping is at the seller's discretion.
- 3.5. The company will ensure the product is delivered to the customer at the address provided during the purchase on the sales website within 14 business days from the order confirmation unless otherwise specified on the website.
- 3.6. The seller is not responsible for any delays and/or non-delivery caused by force majeure and/or events beyond its control, such as delays with the shipping company/Israel Post, strikes, and so on, or if the delivery address is one where mail and/or packages do not arrive according to regular Israel Post business hours and/or courier service, in which case the terms of the courier service will apply. The buyer must verify and check the delivery times for the book after making the purchase on the website and receiving the shipping details.

4. Cancellation and Returns Policy
- 4.1. The company reserves the right to cancel the purchase if the personal information provided is incorrect and/or inaccurate and/or unauthorized and/or if the buyer is under 18 and/or legally incompetent to perform the transaction, and/or the transaction was made through fraud and/or security breach and/or any other manner not in accordance with this agreement and/or any other breach of law.
- 4.2. According to the Consumer Protection Law, 1981, a transaction can be canceled within 14 days from the date the book was received, by returning the book in its original packaging and without damage.
- 4.3. Cancellation must be made in writing by contacting the seller via email: Office@Pitsou.com.
- 4.4. The cancellation will be valid only after receiving an email from the company confirming the cancellation request.
- 4.5. In case of cancellation due to a defect in the book or mismatch, the book will be replaced with a new one.
- 4.6. The seller does not guarantee that the content will suit the buyer's personal needs.
- 4.7. A refund will be issued within 14 business days from the cancellation approval, using the same payment method used for the transaction.
5. Warranty
- 5.1. The book is sold as is ("As Is"). The seller is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused to the buyer as a result of using the book, beyond the liability imposed by law.
- 5.2. If the book is found to be defective, it will be replaced with a new one.
6. Data Security and Privacy
- 6.1. The provision of personal information is only with the consent of the purchaser and/or another person on his behalf and is required for the purpose of completing and processing the transaction.
- 6.2. Personal information will be stored in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, the accompanying regulations and the guidelines of the Privacy Protection Authority, and will not be disclosed to third parties except to the extent required to complete the transaction and as specified in these regulations (for example, the clearing company, the shipping company).
- 6.3. This personal information will not be disclosed or used further for marketing purposes without the consent of the purchaser.
- 6.4. The company uses industry-standard information security measures in order to maintain, as far as possible, the confidentiality and security of the information. In cases beyond the control of the company and/or resulting from force majeure, the company will not be responsible for any damage of any kind, direct or indirect, that may be caused to the customer, if this information is lost and/or used without authorization.

- 6.6. The purchaser undertakes not to make and/or attempt to make:
- (a) any change to the Site and/or
- (b) copy and/or download material stored on the Site, including by means of a "Spider", "Page-Scrape", "Robot", "Peep-Link" or any similar method, algorithm or manual process, and not download or copy and/or transfer any material stored on the Site that is not intended for download and/or transfer
- (c) not attempt to gain access to transactions carried out by others by any means
- (d) not perform any action that may infringe the intellectual property of the Site and/or that may infringe the privacy of other purchasers, and/or that may change information on the Site and/or that may harm the Site and/or purchasers therein.
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property
- 7.1. All intellectual property rights in the Book and the landing page, including copyrights, trademarks, design, graphics, texts and images, are the sole property of the Seller.
- 7.2. The contents of the book or its design may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, translated, publicly displayed or used in any commercial or other manner without the express prior written permission of the seller.
- 7.3. The purchaser receives a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to make personal use only of the copy he purchased, and this does not grant him any rights in the content itself.
8. Miscellaneous
- 8.1. The seller reserves the right to update the regulations from time to time, at its sole discretion, and without prior notice.
- 8.2. The law applicable to these regulations and any dispute between the parties is Israeli law, and the exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv-Yafo district.
